Every number arrives with its source
Orders, production and marketing for Etsy sellers
Orders come from the Etsy emails in your Gmail, history from Etsy's own data downloads — we never ask for your Etsy password. Etsy data, estimates and AI suggestions share the screen, but never the same colour.
Kawlen is invite-only. We review each request and open access from there.

Switch estimates off and the screen stays honest
Third-party estimates are stored separately and can be switched off entirely. Turn them off and what remains is data from Etsy's files and emails, the values you entered, and AI suggestions that show their reasoning.
The amber rows are estimates. Etsy does not publish these; third-party sources produce them.

Four sources, four colours
Every figure in Kawlen belongs to one of these four. No number reaches the screen without its badge.
Etsy data
Etsy's own Download Data files (listings, orders, payments, reviews) and the Etsy order emails that land in your Gmail.
Estimate
Things Etsy does not publish, such as search volume, competitor shops or sales. Third-party and Google data, with a margin of error.
AI
Title, tag and description suggestions and listing drafts. Built from your own data and Etsy's rules, with the reasoning shown.
Your data
Costs, shipping spend and targets — the values you enter yourself.
What is in the panel
The menu follows the work. Several shops and a whole team can share one panel; everyone sees only the screens for their own role and shops.
Work
The screens you open every day.
Orders
Etsy order emails arrive from Gmail on their own. Orders whose totals do not add up land in a review queue.
Production sheets
A production sheet from every order. Next step, owner and reason for waiting on one line.
Data uploads
The listing, order, payment and review files you download from Etsy. The same order is never counted twice.
Products and listings
From catalogue to live listing.
Main catalogue
Products with size, materials, price floor and processing time already set. One click turns one into a draft for your shop.
Listing composer
Title, tags, description and image drafts, with an AI assistant that works from your shop data. You enter it on Etsy; we confirm it went live from your listings file.
Listing analysis
A score for fit with Etsy's rules and fixes with reasons. The score measures rule fit, not guaranteed sales.
Research
Keyword explorer, trends, tag gap analysis and competitor shops — all carrying the estimate badge.
Performance
One period picker across every page.
Sales and customers
Your chosen period next to the previous one. Country split, returning buyers.
Profit and costs
Contribution margin after Etsy fees, advertising, shipping and production cost.
Etsy Ads analysis
Ad spend taken from your payments file; day and weekday patterns, budget guidance.
Traffic and weekly report
Connect Google Analytics 4 to see where off-Etsy traffic comes from; a summary report every week.
Reviews
Rating trend, low-rated listings, recurring complaint themes.
Marketing and tools
Suggestions and warnings.
Policy alerts
Flags listing wording that could clash with Etsy policy before it goes live.
Automations
Set a rule; when a threshold trips, Kawlen opens a task for you.
Maker panel
A separate panel for invited workshops.
Work orders
The seller's sheet, files and due date. Next step and owner on every row.
Quality and files
File versions are tracked; an outdated version cannot be approved. Quality control is a separate step from seller approval.
Planning and stock
Hour-based capacity, recipes, material stock and knowledge cards. Visible to workshop managers only.
How it works
A four-step setup; after that it runs on its own.
- 01
Name your shop
Open your invitation, sign in with Google and type your shop name. Teammates can be added later, each with their own role.
- 02
Connect Gmail and Analytics
You go through Google's own permission screen. In Gmail only emails from Etsy are read; nothing is ever sent or deleted.
- 03
Kawlen recognises your shop
When your first Etsy sale email arrives, the shop is matched automatically; the inbox is checked every 10 minutes. Then you pick your Analytics property.
- 04
Fill in the history with files
Upload your listing, order and review files from Etsy's Download Data page. Card, bank and ID details in the shop settings file are stripped in your browser and never reach us.
Honest limits
What Kawlen does not do
These are choices, not gaps. Knowing what a tool cannot do matters as much as knowing what it can.
We do not connect to your Etsy account
No Etsy password, no Etsy access grant. Etsy data comes from the files you download and the order emails Etsy sends you.
We do not act on Etsy for you
We never publish listings or change prices or stock. We prepare the draft; you enter it on Etsy.
We do not message your buyers
We send no email from your Gmail and do not read your Etsy message inbox. Conversations with buyers stay with you.
We do not read your non-Etsy email
Only emails genuinely sent by Etsy are processed; everything else is never downloaded or stored. We never delete or label anything in Gmail.
We do not scrape Etsy
No browser extension, no page scraping. What Etsy does not publish comes from third-party sources and is labelled as an estimate.
We do not blend estimates into real data
Estimates are stored separately, shown in their own colour, and can be switched off entirely.
Request access
Kawlen is invite-only for now. Tell us briefly about your shop and any production needs, and we will review your request and send you an invitation link.
