01The service

Kawlen is a marketing dashboard that analyses Etsy sellers' shop data. When you connect your Etsy shop, it reads your data, produces reports and suggestions, and — where you approve them — writes your listing edits back to Etsy.

Kawlen is not an accounting, legal or investment advisory service. Its output is decision support; the decision remains yours.

02Accounts and invitations

• Kawlen is currently invite-only. We reserve the right to grant or decline access after reviewing a request.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and for what the people you invite to your organisation do.
• You must be 18 or older to use the service.

03The Etsy connection and your responsibility

• Connecting your Etsy account is your choice and you can revoke it at any time.
• Every action written to Etsy (listing edits, tracking numbers) is shown to you as a preview first and applied only with your approval.
• Complying with Etsy's own terms is your responsibility. You are responsible for whether the edits you make through Kawlen comply with Etsy policy.
• Parts of the service may stop working temporarily because of Etsy API outages, scope changes or rate limits.

04Acceptable use

While using the service, you may not:

• Reverse engineer Kawlen, scrape it with automated tools, or place excessive load on it.
• Transfer or sell your access to third parties, or serve other people's shops from your own account.
• Use the service to mislead Etsy's ranking systems or to breach Etsy policy.
• Produce content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes anyone's rights.

05Estimated data and AI output

Data shown with the "Estimate" label (search volume, competitor sales estimates and the like) does not come from Etsy; it is produced by third-party statistical models. We make no representation or warranty that such data is accurate, complete, current or error-free, and it may diverge from actual values.

Suggestions shown with the "AI" label are generated automatically. We are not responsible for their accuracy, suitability, or for any outcome they produce; reviewing them before publishing is up to you.

We make no assurance that using Kawlen will produce any particular outcome, including increased sales, views, search ranking or income.

06Fees

When paid plans exist, prices and billing terms will be published on this page and in the dashboard. Access during the beta period is free; before any move to paid access we will notify you in advance and you are under no obligation to continue.

07Data ownership and intellectual property

• Your shop data and whatever you enter in the dashboard belong to you.
• You grant us the right to process, store and display that data so that we can provide the service. This right exists only for that purpose.
• The Kawlen software, interface, brand and report templates belong to us.

08Availability

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Temporary pauses may occur due to maintenance, updates or third-party outages.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit, lost data or lost business. In any case our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose; for free use that amount is zero.

10Suspension and termination

• You may close your account at any time; your data is then deleted within the period set out in the privacy policy.
• We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or harm the service or other users. Where possible we give notice first.

11Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify significant changes by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Mandatory consumer rights available to you under the law of your own country are unaffected by this clause; the data protection rights of users in the European Union and Türkiye are set out separately in the privacy policy.
